MOVE’s leadership team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in dance, business and the non-profit sector.

The Foundation Executives have cultivated numerous partnerships with key organizations and individuals who are committed to furthering the Foundation’s Mission. Notable organizations with whom the Executives have worked, include Disney, Sony Screen Gems, MTV, and Capital Records.

GOVERNING BODY

Lori Thompson, President: Brings over 20 years of small to corporate business administration, management and logistics experience.

Joyce Funk, Vice President:
Past Board Member for Adams County Make-A-Wish Foundation, Legislative Advocate, Leadership Council President and Community Champion Award for American Cancer Society

Gina Servant, Secretary & Treasurer:
12 years service as a Social Worker, creating and implementing multiple programs for Foster Parents and Children.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Andrew Funk, Chairman: Co-Founder, Monsters Dance Conventions and B.Funk Dance Company, with extensive experience in business administration, marketing and community service.  

Danielle Worthy, Vice Chair:
With a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management, Mrs. Worthy brings over 15 years of nonprofit experience, working and collaborating with children, families, and community partners to develop, implement, and oversee many projects for the renowned Kennedy Krieger Institute. 

Cheryl Chandler, Treasurer:
25 years business administration and financial management experience, and fundraising organizer for Susan G Koman foundation supporting global breast cancer research.

Rebecca Funk, Advisor:
Co-Founder, Monsters Dance Conventions and B.Funk Dance Company, Mrs. Funk has served as a mentor and dance instructor to thousands of dancers over the last 12 years.
